We all have faced a moment of too-muchness. Have you ever been in a situation of a lot of bugs being reported and piled up in excel? Business is focused on bringing new experiences to the customers and development making it possible because they had to. This is the time to stop testing and showing how risks are piling up in the product for not resolving. Testing isn't still enough. Testing has to continue to highlight the risks. But enough is very situational.

  • Understanding the Test coverage
  • Contextual amount of testing (i.e,. You wouldn't want to run an automation test suite for a text change or you cannot skip testing payment because a newly released feature is taking too much time)
Testing is never enough. However, the amount of testing needs to be accessed based on the complexity, impact on the various feature of the product, test coverage, data coverage.
